Billion Dollar Boy is proud to announce that we won four awards at this year’s Influencer Marketing Awards. The awards, hosted by Talking Influence, are given to those who demonstrate innovation, creativity and excellence in the influencer marketing industry.

Billion Dollar Boy scooped Gold for Best Use of Instagram for method’s ‘spread joy, not germs’ campaign. During the pandemic, people needed a little joy more than ever. Therefore, method wanted to ‘spread joy. not germs’ to homes far and wide during the COVID-19 lockdown by giving people method products in a joy bundle to share with the elderly, vulnerable and those in need. BDB worked with 78 influencers to create 599 pieces of joyful quality content for the brand. The content was shared across Instagram in a very quick turnaround, resulting in an incredibly high positive sentiment of 99.9%. This campaign also won Bronze for the Best Home & Garden campaign. The Influencer Marketing Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts from around the globe, including Edward East, BDB’s CEO.

Judge commented on the method entry, saying: “This is a classic, seamless execution from Billion Dollar Boy. They always get it right when ensuring the campaign is the perfect fit for the client.”

In addition, BDB’s Zalado Zerotypes campaign won a Silver award for the Best Fashion & Style campaign. Zalando wanted to tackle one of the big obstacles to diversity and freedom: stereotypes. The brand wanted to say goodbye to these outdated stereotypes and say hello to a richer world of freedom known as ‘Zerotypes.’ Learn more about how BDB used influencers to present their vision for the world of Zerotypes here.

Last but certainly not least, Billion Dollar Boy was also awarded Silver in the Best Large Agency category, which is a huge achievement.

One of the judges said in the Talking Influence winners announcement: “The Influencer Marketing Awards showcase best practice and creativity from some of the most progressive agencies and in-house teams around the world.”
