Inspiration & Challenge

Shiseido Fragrances came to Billion Dollar Boy in September 2020 to promote K by Dolce&Gabbana, a luxury men’s fragrance.  To raise awareness around Shiseido’s Fragrance, K by Dolce&Gabbana, Billion Dollar Boy partnered with on-brand aspirational influencers to create content that embodied confidence and leadership, which is at the heart of the perfume’s spirit. K by Dolce&Gabbana is a fragrance that ‘captures the essence of a man in his element’ — as represented by the crown logo — and so influencers were tasked with showing how they ‘own their crown’ on social.

Execution & Creativity

Our casting team selected personality-driven male creators who were comfortable in their own skin, who took risks and sought rewards, and who lived authentically luxurious lives. The creators focused on challenging themselves, fostering growth, and elevating skills—being kings of their lives. We collaborated to push the scale, scope, and ambition of influencer marketing with Dolce&Gabbana. Beginning in September 2020, influencers positioned K by Dolce&Gabbana at the heart of their inspiring professional stories using visceral imagery and videos to show what it means to fearlessly pursue excellence.

Results

The beautiful Instagram content was diverse due to the variety of influencers involved in the campaign, resulting in a high number of Instagram impressions and reach. Shiseido and Dolce&Gabbana asked us to be creative, to create luxury, and to take risks. We did all three.
