Learning Disability Has Been Invisible For Too Long
Activate as many social media influencers as possible to spread the message that people with learning disabilities have a right to be seen, listened to, and included.
With just two months and two weeks from the start of the project to launch – compared to the 12 month lead time of Stand Up To Cancer. We needed to convert social media influencers from sympathisers to action takers fast. A two step strategy of personal and mass outreach enabled us to secure as much social coverage as possible across all major social media channels, and at the same time set up prospective future Mencap ambassadors in the process.
