Shifting Bonobos image to aspirational with Foster Huntington

Challenge

Market the Bonobos Summer 2016 Collection by producing an influencer campaign to run on social and Bonobos digital marketing channels.

Strategy

We contracted illustrious influencer Foster Huntington, a photographer, videographer and writer who coined #VanLife and resides in a treehouse he built in the woods of Oregon. He was tasked with creating content around the #BetterthanAC concept of Bonobos clothing keeping men cool during the hot summer months. He was to showcase the Bonobos product while staying true to his aesthetic. He shot the campaign around swimming holes and outdoor summer moments. The content appeared seamlessly integrated into his feed without feeling overly branded. The campaign increased brand awareness for Bonobos while providing a narrative more engaging than a studio product shoot.
