Job Overview

We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to oversee Creative Strategy at Billion Dollar Boy’s New York office. This is a unique and integral role. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for incredible content, an ability to come up with out-of-the-box ideas who is willing to constantly push the boundaries of what is possible on social media and within influencer marketing. Integral to this role is a strong mastery of copywriting and an ability to put creative ideas into words.. They should have a knowledge of the landscape of brands and creators on social, as well as be continually up on the latest trends and developments within the space. Experience interpreting Briefs & RFPS, both nuanced and straightforward, is required. They will be managing and growing a team of Creative Strategists.

The Role and Responsibilities

Reporting directly into the Founder & US President with dotted line to CEO, the Creative Director plays a key role in the company leading the unique creative strategies Billion Dollar Boy offers to our prestigious brand partners. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Oversee all research and inspiration as related to creative strategy
  • Ideate, develop and oversee production of all proposal materials to pitch new business
  • Develop and produce brand partner creative materials (Creative Briefs, Mood Boards, Copy)
  • Oversee all copy for brand materials
  • Lead the Creative Strategy Team
  • Help recruit and grow the Creative Strategy Team
  • Liaise with Head of UK Creative Strategy Team and work cross-functionally with Account Management Team
  • Support BDB’s internal creative offerings (Ex/ website updates, merchandise, printed materials, copywriting and any company branded collateral)

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years prior relevant experience in developing creative strategies for brands or agencies
  • Strong copywriter a must. Will request writing samples.
  • Experience with photo research and image references
  • Must possess working knowledge of Google Slides, Photoshop and lIllustrator
  • Experience leading and growing a team
  • Ability to multi-task and switch between projects
  • Ability to pitch creative work in front of audiences
  • Highly organized with attention to deadlines
  • Strategic and creative and a problem-solver
  • High taste level and understanding of good content
  • Understanding of branding on digital essential as well as knowledge of the influencer marketing landscape a plus
